Hot water buffer tanks

Heat buffers and 3 and 6 bar buffer tanks for industrial, heating and process installations.
CGH hot water storage tanks are used to store thermal energy in the form of hot water and to stabilise installation operation. They are applied wherever continuous heat availability, reduced temperature fluctuations and more efficient use of energy sources are important.
We design and manufacture vertical, aboveground, single-skin tanks in 3 and 6 bar versions. The design can be adapted to the installation parameters, required capacity, foundation method, insulation and nozzle arrangement.

CGH – water storage at the highest level!

CGH storage tanks are used in many sectors, including:

Water management – securing water resources for municipal infrastructure needs.

Industry – storage of technological and process water.

Fire protection systems – reserve water for firefighting.

Commercial and residential facilities – retention and use of rainwater.

Hot water storage in energy systems.

Purpose and advantages of CGH tanks

Hot water storage tanks act as a buffer between the heat source and energy consumers. They allow surplus heat to be accumulated and used when the installation demand increases.

This solution helps reduce temperature fluctuations, improves the operating stability of heat sources and supports efficient energy management across the entire system. The tank can be designed as part of a new installation or as an element of an existing system upgrade.

Large capacities and the possibility of adapting the tank to a specific installation.
3 and 6 bar versions for heating and process installations.

Manufacturing in accordance with PED and AD 2000 requirements.

*Other variants, including 10 and 16 bar, available upon individual customer request

The selection of a variant depends on the required design pressure, foundation conditions and structural assumptions for the specific location. Tanks can be designed as structures on tubular legs or on a support skirt, depending on installation parameters and environmental loads.
