CGH Group designs and manufactures stainless, acid-resistant and duplex steel tanks for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries and the power sector. Since PROXMUS of Elbląg joined the Group, we have combined CGH’s experience in building storage tanks with a plant designed exclusively for austenitic and austenitic-ferritic steels. We produce both large storage tanks of up to 300 m³ and process, hygienic and pressure tanks to customer documentation.

Applications of CGH stainless steel tanks
CGH stainless tanks are used in industries where medium purity, chemical resistance and compliance with hygiene requirements matter:
Spirits industry – excise tanks for spirit and vodka, also in ATEX versions.
Brewing – process and storage tanks for breweries.
Juices, beverages and dairy – hygienic tanks compliant with EHEDG and Regulation (EC) 1935/2006.
Pharmaceuticals and cosmetics – tanks, mixers and process reactors.
Chemicals – storage of phenol, urea, alcohols and corrosive substances.
Power sector and environmental protection – ammonia water and reagents for SCR/SNCR systems.
Automotive and water – tanks for AdBlue and for drinking, demineralised and process water.
We adapt our designs to the specific nature of our customers’ production processes.
Purpose
We offer tanks with capacities from a few hundred litres up to 300 m³ in a single unit. To order, we produce tanks and process equipment in any configuration to the customer’s design. CGH stainless steel tanks are designed for:
Safe storage of food, pharmaceutical and chemical media without contact with paint coatings.
Meeting EHEDG hygiene requirements and regulations for materials in contact with food.
Operation in process installations – with mixing, heating, cooling and CIP cleaning.
Long service life in chemically aggressive environments.

CGH stainless steel tanks – optional equipment
- Cleaning heads and CIP system connections.
- Paddle, screw or static agitators, and nozzles for mounting them.
- Heating and cooling jackets, coils, heating cables.
- Thermal insulation with stainless steel cladding.
- Level, temperature and pressure measurement, overfill protection, leak detection.
- DN600–DN800 manholes, sight glasses, hygienic fittings.
- Stainless steel ladders, platforms, walkways and handrails.
- Pumps, fittings, instrumentation and control (I&C) and SCADA system.
Tank surface
- Stainless steel tanks do not require paint coatings – after welding, the surfaces are pickled and passivated, which restores the passive layer.
- We grind dished ends and tank surfaces up to 5 m in diameter on a CNC grinding machine, which delivers a repeatable hygienic finish.
- We select the roughness of internal surfaces to meet industry requirements and the customer’s specification.
