Aqueous ammonia, an aqueous solution of ammonia, is used in the chemical, glass and rubber industries, as well as in nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction systems such as SCR and SNCR.
Storing this medium requires tanks designed with due consideration for material compatibility, tightness, leak monitoring and safe operation. Aqueous ammonia tanks should therefore be tailored not only to the properties of the medium, but also to the operating conditions and technological requirements of the facility.
CGH Group manufactures above-ground, double-walled stainless-steel tanks for aqueous ammonia. The tanks can be fitted with leak detection, level measurement, overfill protection, heating, insulation and nozzles prepared for integration with a dosing system.

Safe storage of aqueous ammonia
