Anchoring Straps

Anchoring straps from CGH are a dependable solution used in underground tank installations where stable positioning and protection against buoyancy forces caused by groundwater are essential. The anchoring system is designed for quick and effective installation, and its construction provides secure, durable seating of the tank without the risk of displacement. The straps are adapted to various tank types and soil conditions, and they are installed prior to tank placement to ensure precise and stable anchoring.

Why should you choose anchoring straps?

Efficiency and safety

  • Stable fastening prevents the tank from being lifted by groundwater.
  • The tank’s insulation layer is protected by rubber pads.
  • Components are made of galvanized steel, ensuring resistance to corrosion.

Easy installation

  • Anchors are installed in the foundation before the tank is placed.
  • The anchoring kit is delivered to the construction site ahead of the tank.
  • Quick, precise installation with no need for additional welding work.

Durability and resistance

  • The entire system is protected against corrosion through hot-dip galvanization.
  • Robust construction tailored to tank size and soil conditions.
  • Number of straps can be adjusted to meet individual project requirements.

Proven solution for secure tank installation

Specyfikacja techniczna, czyli najważniejsze parametry, które musisz znać

The anchoring system includes:

  • Steel clamping strap of the anchoring system
  • Rubber spacer
  • M24 threaded rod
  • Anchor plate with a hole for the threaded rod
  • Nuts and washers

Installation guidelines:

  • Use a bitumen-based (or equivalent) insulating layer min. 10 mm thick between the tank and the foundation.
  • Use the supplied rubber spacer between the strap and the tank.

Assumptions for structural calculations:

  • Groundwater level equal to ground level
  • Safety factor for buoyancy: 1.3
  • Soil density: 18 kN/m³
  • Concrete density B20: 22 kN/m³
  • Minimum burial depth of the tank: 800 mm

Note: These assumptions do not replace the requirement to perform individual foundation and buoyancy calculations based on local soil conditions.
