The extraction of crude oil and natural gas involves the simultaneous production of produced water, also known as formation water. This is water originating from deep geological layers that reaches the surface together with hydrocarbons. Due to its high content of salts, heavy metals, and hydrocarbons, its storage requires specialist solutions. CGH produced water tanks have been designed for the safe and efficient storage of this medium, ensuring durability and protection against external factors.
